For this brief I was required to design a multi-page report for S.A.F.O.D in the style of an eBook using Adobe InDesign software. I was provided with a text document containing the headlines and body text to deploy – but with all formatting removed. This gave me a blank space to impose my creativity on. This project is both an exercise in good document design and typography, but also in visual rhetoric. In designing this report I am attempting to promote the organisation in ways that gets the World’s attention.

I was provided text from their current publicity material for me to work with because this is, after all, a project about document design. There was also a folio of imagery I used, with the option of creating my own. I was responsible for taking the texts and combining them with appropriate imagery into formally designed documents. The imagery could have be self-authored or derived from an existing source. It was be relevant, communicative and technically viable.
